Hi, I'm Amy, the creator behind Solteryx!

Here is a little backstory behind our brand...

I’ve always enjoyed art and being creative, but never in a professional sense. No qualifications, formal training, just a hobby. One day, I began drawing on an old surfboard and ended up covering the WHOLE thing in Sharpies. I posted it on Instagram, and it managed to make the rounds on bigger pages such as Surf Girl Mag and Carve. This led to friends asking for help with designs for their businesses. I designed a logo for Cornish Dream Surfboards, a T-shirt and merch for a 100k-follower surf content page, and entered a few competitions where I was lucky enough to be a finalist—one of which was Animal's 'Design a Tee' competition.

I had always kept in the back of my mind that I wanted to create art in the form of decals—something that would allow my designs created from my own travels to be shared more easily and seen in places far beyond my home in South West England.

I wanted to ensure the decals were of the highest quality and durability, so with help I've put multiple materials to the test and had friends rigorously try them on different surfaces before choosing the perfect, most suitable quality.

I have had many successful markets in Cornwall and this website has been created to hopefully allow adventurers who enjoy art the opportunity to buy from far and wide.
